Musings and What-not

Whenever a neighbor is being loud or cussing someone out... my thoughts are, "I wish you'd shut up!", or "Please move! Please move! Please MOVE!" In those moments, I am choosing to not see this expression (that person) as another version of myself. "They" are "me" in another meat suit... expressing "themselves" as "they" choose. With that said, I thought I would put together some of my favorite  reminders to help me stay in my highest alignment. In Lak'ech Ala K'in In the Mayan tradition, the title of this post is this phrase's basic translation. I seem to write a lot about mirrors ... those experiences (people, places, situations) that present themselves as a direct result of the frequency we, ourselves, emit into the world.

Many people shy away from compliments because they feel in some way that they are unworthy of such praise.

I will be honest... my ego often gets quite bruised (aka butt-hurt) whenever I notice that someone has "unliked" me on social media.  It is in those moments, when I choose to think, "{sigh} Someone does not like me." It is also in those moments when I receive the greatest gift.

A recent update in my Facebook News Feed made me think of one of my favorite  movies, Amistad, where Cinque, one of the main characters, stands during trial (which was defining his status as either stolen goods [kidnapped; has a right to freedom] or property [receives no rights]), and proclaims, "Give us free!" It is a poignant moment in the film where one life is simply asking to be set free.

You are not a physical being in a physical universe. You are an energetic/vibrational being in an energetic/vibrational universe. You are both a transmitter and a receiver of energy.

For years, I chased money. Not the essence of money, but the physical representation of what millions believe money to be.
