My husband, the professor, thinks too much. I told him I needed a new title since Mother Warrior was already taken. Here's what he came up with. Pure genius! Here's an idea: Autism's Avenging Angel (AAA)--sort of a play on Jenny's Rescue Angel. You're not rescuing, but avenging a community from the misconceptions, misunderstandings, and misnomers around autism. You're trying to move toward a more nuanced, reasoned, informed, and considerate understanding of autism without dehumanizing and belittling the autistic community. I wonder if I need a cape?
